Finance Business Manager (Sunrise PACE)

Purpose of the position
The Finance Business Manager will manage the execution of financial operations for Sunrise PACE. They will provide effective and supportive management of the Finance, Accounting, and Billing staff. Additionally, they will oversee Sunrise PACE’s financial reporting and revenue cycle performance. They will generate reports to regulatory agencies, along with generating management information reports. Provides other staff members with technical assistance for internal office procedures and standards of operation for processing documentation. The Manager is responsible for overall day to day financial management of Sunrise PACE.
Requirements for this position
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience as acquired with a minimum of five years accounting experience in the areas of computerized accounting systems, budget preparation, general ledger, payroll, payables, receivables, account reconciliation and analysis, spreadsheet and audit preparation.
- Proficiency in the use of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Masters Degree preferred
- Excellent attention to detail, organizations skill and the ability to multi-tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule.
- Experience in financial management principles and practices, billing or finance and the ability to read and interpret fiscal documents.
- Administrative experience in a health care setting, preferred
- Experience with health care service contracts and claims payment, preferred
- Ability to manage work responsibilities with a high level of autonomy and functions well in a team environment.
- Clearly assigns responsibility for tasks and decisions; sets clear objectives and measures; monitors process, progress and results; designs feedback loops into work.
- Makes good decisions and sought out by others for solutions.
